The Church
There is a lot of talk about church. However, man's view point of church is entirely different for God's. For the most part, man associates church with a building and not a group of people selected by God himself. The English word church is a translation of the Greek word Ecclesia. Ecclesia means to be called out John 17:13-20 and II Corinthians 6:17.

Jesus is the founder and sole owner of the church. "And I say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it". The birth of the church was in the upper room on the Day of Pentecost, in Jerusalem, time 30 A.D. Read Acts 2:1-4.

The mission of the church is to go into all the world and be a witness for Christ. (Read Matt. 28:19 and Acts 1:8)

The finest hour of the church will be when it is caught up and away (this is called the Rapture.) We must meet Him in the air to marry the Bridegroom someday, anyday. (Read I Thes. 4:13-18 and Rev. 22:12) Some will miss this great event. Those who miss the rapture will enter into great tribulation (Read Matt. 24:21-22). But those who are taken away in the rapture, this will be their finest hour.
